Whitetail Woodlands’ hunters will be able to go Ruffed Grouse Hunting on our 200 acres of private Ruffed Grouse Hunting Land and also over 300 acres of “landlocked” Ashland County land. A variety of good Ruffed Grouse Hunting habitat and varied terrain with logging and skidding roads not only provides access for our hunters, but aids in their success.
Our Ruffed Grouse Hunting Land consists of smaller fields, select cut areas that have new growth aspen (a favorite for Ruffed Grouse and Whitetail Deer) plus swamp land for moisture and abundant raspberry bushes for food.
Our hunters have the ability to accommodate their Ruffed Grouse Hunting styles and hunt whenever they choose. Hunters set their own schedules because they are hunting our "private, posted land."
